The Faculty Senate serves as the officially designated representative body of the UL Lafayette faculty, fostering collaboration and active participation in University governance in alignment with the institution's mission and goals.
In this role, the Faculty Senate partners with the University administration to address key areas of faculty interest, including academic standards, student affairs, faculty welfare, the selection of University-wide administrators, and representation on designated University committees.
