Update on University Payroll Schedules

Dear faculty and staff,

Over the past several months, we have continued to evaluate the University’s payroll schedules and consider the feedback employees have shared throughout the transition to biweekly pay.

After further review, we have determined the transition to biweekly pay for faculty and graduate assistants and fellows is not feasible at this time. Individuals who are currently paid monthly will continue to be paid on a monthly schedule.

Unclassified staff members who have already transitioned to biweekly pay will remain on the biweekly pay cycle. We know this has been a period of transition for our staff, that has produced mixed reactions throughout campus. We are continuing to explore all options throughout this semester and seek your input in this matter.

Classified employees will continue to be paid biweekly.

We remain committed to listening to you and understanding your concerns as we move forward.

Thank you for your continued dedication to our students and the University.

Sincerely,

Dr. Ramesh Kolluru
President
