Our Mission
We prepare students to assume leadership roles in the health care industry in their disciplines, with the ultimate goal of improving health outcomes for individuals, institutions, and communities. We give our students the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to value a culture of safety, high-quality care, continuous improvement, and ethical practice across a variety of health science roles and health care settings.

Accredited Programs
Our health information management program is accredited by CAHIIM, and it's one of only six programs nationwide, and the first in Louisiana, accredited under CAHIIM's competency-based Future Education Model.
