The School of Visual Arts at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette presents retrospect: 2026 Student Juried Art Exhibition at the Fletcher Hall Gallery from March 19 through April 1, 2026. The annual exhibition highlights outstanding student work and provides an opportunity for emerging artists to exhibit in a professional gallery setting.
This year’s exhibition features 87 works selected from 231 submissions by 85 student artists, showcasing a range of media including animation, drawing, film, painting, printmaking, design, sculpture, and mixed media.
The exhibition was juried by David Wolske, a nationally and internationally recognized artist and educator whose practice combines letterpress, printmaking, and contemporary design. Wolske currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of North Texas.

The opening reception was held March 19, drawing students, faculty, and community members in celebration of the exhibition. The event included refreshments and music by DJ D’oro.
The Fletcher Hall Gallery is located on the second floor of Fletcher Hall on the University of Louisiana at Lafayette campus. Gallery hours are Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM, and Friday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM. Admission is free and open to the public.
