Join the Instructional Support Team for professional development opportunities throughout the year to learn about innovative tools and pedagogy.  

  • Weekly: 10-Minute Tech Talks highlight tools and technology you can integrate in your online and face-to-face courses. Join us in the Innovative Teaching and Learning Community on Microsoft Teams throughout the semester.  
  • Fall Semester:  
    • FLCs: Distance Learning faculty are invited each Fall to submit proposals for Faculty Learning Communities. Once membership applications are accepted, the cohort meets throughout the academic year for collaborative, interdisciplinary professional development.  
    • Tech Tool Expo: Our team offers ongoing live demonstrations on campus of new technology and use cases in course design for faculty to explore.
  • Spring Semester:  
    • Innovative Teaching & Learning Week: During this webinar series, faculty from across campus present how they’re applying innovative pedagogy, course design, and technology in their courses to improve student experience and success.  
    • FLC Showcase: Faculty Learning Communities present their research and findings during this annual on-campus event.
