Real students, real stories — meet the people building their accounting careers at UL Lafayette, from the classroom to the community.
Accounting majors get real, hands-on experience well before graduation. Many complete for-credit internships with local firms, often during tax season, and go on to interview with regional and international accounting firms, corporations, financial institutions, and government agencies. Others tutor fellow students through Beta Alpha Psi, take part in the Accounting Pathway through UL Lafayette's ASRE research program, or get involved in the Institute of Management Accountants Student Chapter — building the technical and professional skills that carry them toward the CPA exam and beyond.
