About University Program Center

The University Program Council (UPC) is a student-led organization dedicated to creating meaningful experiences, celebrating culture, and building community.

From planning campus-wide traditions like Homecoming and Lagniappe Day to hosting cultural showcases, concerts, and late-night events, UPC makes the Ragin’ Cajun experience unforgettable. Our programming boards give students the opportunity to lead, collaborate, and make a real impact on campus life.

UPC members gain hands-on experience in event planning, marketing, leadership, and teamwork, while forming lifelong friendships and connections across campus. Whether you’re passionate about highlighting the unique voices of our campus community, creating fun student events, or keeping university traditions strong, there’s a place for you in UPC.

Together, we make campus come alive — one event at a time.
