About the College of Business Administration

The B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration is one of the largest colleges at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, a Carnegie R1 research university. About Us

Founded in 1902 as the Department of Business, Moody Business has grown into one of the most respected business schools in the region, with more than 23,000 alumni worldwide. Our Business and Accounting programs are each accredited by AACSB, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business — placing Moody Business among fewer than 200 business schools worldwide with this elite dual accreditation.

Students choose from eight majors: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Hospitality Management, Insurance and Risk Management, Management, Marketing, and Professional Land and Resource Management. Five endowed chairs and eminent scholars, along with nearly 100 endowed professorships, support faculty research and student learning — made possible by donors invested in the College's future. In 2026, Moody Business awarded more than $650,000 in scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students.
