The second Faculty Learning Community (FLC) cohort will present their research and findings during the 2023 Faculty Learning Community Showcase Wednesday, May 3.
Facilitators led five FLC groups throughout the Fall and Spring, exploring different technologies and approaches to enhance student learning. Three of the groups were dedicated to H5P-based course activities as part of a Louisiana Board of Regents eLearning Innovation Grant.
Enjoy refreshments while learning more about each community, their methods, and their outcomes during a poster session from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A hybrid panel will follow from 12-1 p.m. with access in person and via Zoom.

Focus: Building Student Research Experiences (SREs)/Course-Embedded Undergraduate Research Experiences (CUREs) into online courses.
Applying Microsoft Teams to Online Learning and Instruction
Facilitator: Michael Hebert, College of Nursing and Health Sciences
Focus: Learning the practical uses for Microsoft Teams across work processes and instruction. Use cases will include communicating, organizing, scheduling, meeting and teaching.
Enhancing Learner-Content Interaction with H5P
Facilitators: Kathleen Schott Espinoza, College of Liberal Arts; Marissa Lajaunie, College of Nursing and Health Sciences; Penny Powell, College of Sciences
Focus: Peer-to-peer professional development and support for faculty to learn H5P and design interactive course content they will use to enhance online courses taught in Spring 2023.
