Strategic Growth

In August 2019, the University President approved the Strategic Plan for Inclusive Excellence -- an ambitious roadmap for building a more inclusive community over the next three years. Based on the Inclusive Excellence Strategic Framework, the plan is more than just a short-term project or an initiative from a single office. It requires an institutional transformation in which everyone plays a part.

Council for Inclusive Excellence

The purpose of the Council for Inclusive Excellence (CIE) is to be a catalyst for change and an advocate for inclusion within the campus and surrounding community. The CIE provides support for programming, training and resources for University students, faculty, staff and community stakeholders. The CIE supports the mission of the Office for Campus Inclusion in cultivating a campus climate that is inclusive and welcoming of diverse perspectives.

Women’s Leadership Conference

The annual Women’s Leadership Conference brings together students, faculty, staff and community members to commemorate National Women’s History Month and promote gender equity in leadership. The goal of the conference is to provide an opportunity for personal and professional leadership development that is centered on the needs of women from various cultural backgrounds. Join us each March for a full day of educational breakout sessions, inspirational awards presentations, and empowering keynote speakers.
