Ordering & Purchasing (Grad Expo)

Fall 2025 Grad Expo

When: Wednesday, September 17,  2025, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Where: Alumni Center, 600 E St. Mary Blvd, Lafayette, LA 70503

NOTE: It takes about 30-45 minutes to walk through the event. Acceptable forms of payment include credit/debit. Payments CANNOT be accepted over the phone. 

There will be a Grad Expo for Spring 2026 Graduation Candidates. 

Cap & Gown

All candidates are required to wear the University-approved custom cap and gown. You will not be permitted to participate in the Commencement ceremonies without the proper University-approved attire.

  • Bachelor & Master's will be able to purchase and leave with your cap & gown at Grad Expo.
    • Bachelor Degree
      • Cap/Gown/Tassel = $71.98
        • Cap Only = $10.98
        • Tassel Only = $8.98
           
    • Master's Degree
      • Cap/Gown/Hood/Tassel = $121.96
        • Individual Items
          • Cap Only = $10.98
          • Tassel Only = $8.98
          • Hood Only = $44.98
             
  • Doctoral Degree
    • Rental (Deadline to Order: November 9th)
      • Gown & Hood Rental, Purchase Tam = $263.98
      • Gown Rental, Purchase Hood & Tam = $379.98
        * $100 refundable deposit is collected at time of pick-up once they arrive at the Ragin' Cajuns Store. 
        ** Rentals must be returned by December 23rd.
         
    • Purchase (Deadline to Order: October 5th)
      • Complete Custom Set (Gown, Hood, Tam) = $1,008.00
         

Not Attending Grad Expo

Bachelor, Master's & Doctoral candidates can order online starting September 18.

  • Please note 2 important items:
    • Ordering Deadlines
    • Gowns will ship directly from Oak Hall and a shipping fee is charged

Personalized Announcements 

  • Orders can be placed at Expo or online.
    • Delivery time is approximately 2-3 weeks. 

Louisiana Ring 

  • Orders can be placed at Expo or online.
    • In order to receive them at the Fall Ring Ceremony, orders must be placed by September 17.
