In January 2013, followers of the WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies (WCET) were asked to predict "something that will happen this year regarding teaching, learning, technology, business of e-learning, policy, regulations, student behavior, or other related items.” Dr. Luke Dowden, Director of Distance Learning, received the WCET Seeing the Future Award for his predictions.
