University Wind Ensemble will help celebrate the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s Homecoming Week by performing music that’s in tune with this year’s Homecoming theme: “The Ragin’ Cajun Games.”

“Musical Games,” a free concert, will be held at 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 4, in Angelle Hall Auditorium on campus.

William J. Hochkeppel, director of bands and associate professor of music at UL Lafayette, will conduct. The ensemble will play selections from composers and arrangers such as John Philip Sousa, Leonard Bernstein and Robert Russell Bennett.

University Wind Ensemble features some of UL Lafayette’s finest wind and percussion players.
