Library's Annual Book Sale Set This Week

Book lovers should circle Nov. 8-10 in red on their calendars. Those are the dates of the Friends of Dupré Library Annual Book Sale.

Fiction and nonfiction used books on a wide variety of topics will be available. Hardcover books cost $1 and paperbacks are 50 cents. The sale also includes LPs and some other recordings, priced at $1 for singles and $2 for sets.

The book sale will be conducted Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Friends of the Library members and UL Lafayette faculty and staff are invited to a preview on Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The sale will take place on the first floor of the library, which is at 400 East St. Mary Boulevard.  Public parking lots are on the corner of East Saint Mary Boulevard and Girard Park Circle and on the corner of West Saint Mary Boulevard and Cherry Street.
