How to Transfer to UL Lafayette

When you’re ready to transfer to UL Lafayette,

  1. Review the transfer admissions requirements and deadlines
  2. Complete the admissions application and pay the $25 application fee.
  3. Submit your transcripts and/or test scores. Contact your previous institution directly to learn how to send your official transcript to UL Lafayette.

    If you are accepted,
  4. Submit your immunization form.
  5. Sign up for transfer student orientation.

Our Admissions and Recruitment staff are here to help you, even as UL Lafayette’s campus is closed to the public.

We’re still accepting applications, guiding you through the admissions process, and preparing you for life at UL Lafayette.

Changes to the Admissions Application

All students are encouraged to apply!

For Fall 2021:​

  • Students with a 3.0 overall high school GPA will be admitted regardless of ACT or SAT scores.​
  • Students with below a 3.0 overall high school GPA will be considered for admissions holistically.​

Reminder: If you are still awaiting your admissions decision, ensure we have your high school transcript in our system!
