Graduating seniors from Lafayette High School signed letters of intent to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette yesterday. Academic Signing Days for UL Lafayette are designed to showcase students and highlight their academic achievements during high school.

Following the theme of National Signing Day for athletes, Enrollment Management officials begun to host academic signings to recognize students who have excelled academically by having them indicate their intent to enroll at UL Lafayette.

At Lafayette High, 68 students signed letters of intent and UL Lafayette scholarship offers. Signings also took place recently at St. Thomas More School, Northside High School, Jeanerette High School and Catholic High School in New Iberia.
