This is the University's list of official resources and services that have changed during the University's transition to remote class delivery.
Campus remains open, and all University operations and business functions continue, including:
- residence halls;
- dining; and
- Student Health Services.
All employees, including teaching assistants and student workers, should report to work as usual. For any extenuating circumstances or needs, please contact your supervisor.
All campus events, regardless of size, are suspended until the end of the semester.

Advising, Registration & Withdrawing from Classes
Registration for the Summer Intersession, Summer, and Fall semesters has also been postponed and will begin April 14.
All students must meet with their academic advisors and have their advising holds lifted prior to registration. View your holds via ULink on the Registration tab, beneath Get Ready to Register, click on Check Holds.
Students may register at any time after the date/time indicated on their registration time ticket.
Students may check their registration time ticket via ULink. Log in to ULink. On the Registration tab, beneath Get Ready to Register, click on Prepare for Registration.
The Registration Guide for Summer Intersession, Summer, and Fall 2020 is now available. This bi-annual guide is intended to help students navigate many of the processes and requirements for registering for classes and ultimately getting their degrees. It includes helpful content, such as the Academic Calendar, the process for registration, and whom to contact with questions about tuition.
Advising holds and registration time tickets have been posted to student records. If you advised any students prior to March 18, you will need to lift their advising holds.
Advising for the Summer Intersession, Summer, and Fall semesters has been postponed for two weeks. Advising is scheduled to begin March 30.
Summer Intersession, Summer, and Fall 2020 class schedules are available online via ULink on the Registration tab, beneath Register for Classes, click on Register for Classes. On the following page, click on Browse Classes.
As always, departments may adjust class schedules following the initial posting, so remember to always refer to the online class schedule for the most up-to-date information.
Withdrawing from Classes
The University is developing a process with each academic college that will enable students to withdraw from a class with a W remotely. The process should be finalized soon.

The Learning Center has transitioned to virtual tutoring and is available to assist students in a variety of courses. TLC's operating hours remain 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon on Fridays.
Tutoring will be conducted through Zoom, free online meeting software. The online meetings will be accessible via computer, mobile phones, and smart tablets.
Bourgeois Hall has been closed, and all intramural sports and recreation events are currently canceled.

Campus Cupboard, UL Lafayette’s food pantry for students, faculty, and staff, is offering pick-up service from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
To ensure that orders are ready for pick up and to minimize face-to-face interactions, customers should complete this form.
Computer Labs & Internet
Agnes Edwards Hall Computer Lab is the only computer lab open on campus.

All students are encouraged to practice social distancing when using the computer labs.
All campus residents may eat in Cypress Lake Dining Hall at no cost. This applies to students who remain in residence halls, Legacy Park, Cajun Village and the Heritage.
Students who do not have a meal plan will be asked to sign in at the cashier’s desk, but they will not be billed for meals. Swipes can be used by those who have them. If a student doesn’t have adequate swipes, they will also be asked to sign in – but will not be charged.
Sodexo will have staff on hand to assist students who may have dietary restrictions.
Non-residential students who have meal plans and wish to continue to utilize campus dining may do so. Dining Services is prepared to support faculty, staff and students during this period. Of course, customers may also use cash, credit and debit cards.
Dining services are carry-out only in Cypress Lake Dining Hall and The Brew. All other locations will remain closed until further notice.
The Brew will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
The dining hall's schedule is as follows:
- Breakfast, 8-10 a.m.
- Lunch, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Dinner, 5-7 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday
- Brunch, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Dinner, 4-7 p.m.
- Hours of operation may be adjusted as the semester continues, so watch for University notifications.
Declining balances for students who have meal plans this semester will roll over to next semester, even if a new academic year begins.
Students who graduate or resign this semester have 90 days to apply for refunds by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.

Counseling & Testing
The UL Lafayette Counseling and Testing Center provides free personal counseling and short-term psychotherapy for students, faculty and staff.
It’s located in the Saucier Wellness Center, O.K. Allen Hall, suite 114.
How can I schedule counseling at the University’s Counseling and Testing Center?
The UL Lafayette Counseling and Testing Center is offering sessions by phone and online. To schedule an appointment, call (337) 482-6480 during regular business hours.
Center hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The Office of Disability Services is working with students and faculty to ensure all eligible students receive accommodations.

Edith Garland Dupré Library will be closed until further notice beginning at 5 p.m. on March 23
For students who need computer and internet access to complete remote coursework, Agnes Edwards Hall Computer Lab, 110 Rex St., will remain open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Printing services will not be available. Learn more on the STEP website.
Dupré Library will continue to provide services to the University community through online resources and remote consultations with students, faculty, and staff.
Electronic Resources: The library’s digital collections are available remotely 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Search digital collections, including research databases, electronic journals, and full-text e-books. View guides to resources and tutorials.
Reference Assistance: Students and faculty can interact with librarians through the “Ask a Librarian” service. It is accessible from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Fridays. On weekends, the service is available from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays, and 2-9 p.m. on Sundays. Appointments are also available via email at email@example.com. Librarians can set up calls or Zoom meetings.
Departmental Librarians: Faculty members with questions about remote instruction may consult with a subject specialist librarian in their area.
Interlibrary Loan Services (ILL)
ILL is accepting requests for electronic journal articles, book chapters, theses, and dissertations. Materials will arrive in about 24 to 48 hours. ILL is unable to fill requests for physical items during the closure. ILL will not charge overdue fines for materials on loan from other libraries.
Overdue fines for books and other library materials have been suspended and will not be charged. Please do not return books until Dupré Library resumes normal operations. Library staff will not be monitoring book drops. Email questions about borrowing physical materials, circulation rules, fines and renewals to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Hilliard Art Museum
Effective Wednesday, March 18, 2020, the Hilliard Art Museum will be closing to the public until further notice.
This closure effects our main museum building, the A. Hays Town building, as well as all of our gallery spaces and exhibitions. All public programming and K-12 tours and programming are suspended until further notice.
The University will begin remote course delivery to address public health concerns related to COVID-19 on Wednesday, March 18. Campus will remain open, as will residence halls. All University operations and business functions will continue.
On-campus residents are encouraged to leave campus and return home if possible. Read the latest information from University Housing.
Dining services will be available in Cypress Lake Dining Hall and The Brew. All other locations will remain closed until further notice.
The Brew will be open from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Monday, March 23. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and closed on Friday. Starting the week of March 30, The Brew’s hours of operation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Assistance & Housekeeping
As usual, quiet hours will be enforced from 10 p.m. until 10 a.m. daily. Residential Life and Housing staff are on-call and can be reached via the duty phone number posted at the front desk. The front desk will remain staffed.
Housekeeping services will continue and extra cleaning measures will be taken to help prevent the spread of germs.
University IT Support personnel will be answering 337-482-4357 and emails to email@example.com during normal hours for the duration of the remote delivery period. If you are unable to reach a support person, leave a message and we will answer as soon as possible.
You are encouraged to use the Service Desk's online tutorials.
Parking & Transportation
Bus service to and from Cajun Field has been suspended.
There are no restrictions for on-campus parking from now until the end of the Spring 2020 semester. Motorists may park in any lot or parking structure. Tickets will be issued only to those who park illegally in reserved spaces, handicapped and tow-away zones, or in front of fire hydrants.
The Post Office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. from March 23 to March 27. Operating hours for the following weeks will be announced at a later date.
If you are moving off campus and are not returning to on campus housing for Summer or Fall 2020 semesters, please return your key directly to the Post Office.
If you are returning to campus housing, please keep your key in order to maintain your current P.O. Box address. If you wish to have your mail forwarded to your home address until returning, please call (337) 482-6113 or stop by the Post Office to put an alternative address on file.
Textbook Rental Returns
The last day The Ragin' Cajuns Store will accept returns for textbook rentals will be Tuesday, May 19. Students needing to return rented textbooks should mail them back using any shipment method to the following address:

Veteran’s benefits remain the same as the University delivers coursework remotely. The only changes that will be submitted are withdrawals (official and unofficial). Please send an email to email@example.com if you withdraw from a course.
