Our spirit groups are the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Cheerleaders, the Ragin’ Jazz Dance Team, the Pride of Acadiana, and Ragin' Brass.

Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Cheerleadering
Bring on the noise as an integral part of Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns athletics. Our cheerleading squad brings life to Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns sporting events year-round, performs at University-related events, and competes in the UCA Collegiate National Championship.

Louisiana Ragin' Jazz Dance Team
Entertain and get the crowds jazzed as part of the University's dance team. Our dancers come from a variety of performance backgrounds and use their talents to support Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns athletics, the University, and our community.

Louisiana Ragin' Brass Band
The Louisiana Ragin’ Brass is our winter sports pep band, which rehearses and performs during the late fall and spring semesters. The group plays at all home basketball games for both men and women, and also travels with the basketball teams to out-of-town post-season tournaments.

Pride of Acadiana Marching Band
Our award-winning Pride of Acadiana marching band brings music and pageantry to University events. Auditions are required to participate and members are eligible for scholarships or housing stipends. You can also bring spirit to events through the Colour Guard or as a member of the Univeristy's many band ensembles.
