Technology Commercialization
You should minor in technology commercialization if:
- You are an engineering or engineering and technology management major.
- You want to make changes for a better future in the engineering industry.
- You are interested in the business side of engineering.
With this minor, you’ll focus on the business side of engineering as a supplement to your engineering major. Study topics like the effects of technology on society, environmental law, and other aspects of business.
You will learn how to work as a unit with your company and team. The technology commercialization minor will help you to advance in the engineering industry.
Program Requirements
You must be an engineering or industrial technology major to earn your minor in technology commercialization.
To complete a minor in technology commercialization, you will need to take 18 credits hours of relevant courses. Up to 6 hours can be counted toward your major engineering curriculum.

Each minor requires you to complete a minimum of 18 hours in the specialized area while completing your degree within one of our current engineering and industrial technology programs.
