With a German minor, you will walk through the history of Germany and other Germanic cultures in Europe. When you minor in German at UL Lafayette, you will learn to speak, read, and write German like a native.

German Culture in Louisiana
The German culture in Louisiana is small but vibrant. Visit the Wurst Biergarten in Downtown Lafayette, or experience Roberts Cove Germanfest. Nearby Baton Rouge and New Orleans have many resources that highlight German heritage in Louisiana including the Deutsches Haus and the Historic New Orleans Collection.
