Environmental Engineering
You should minor in environmental engineering if:
- You are an engineering major.
- You are an environmentalist and you want to solve environmental problems.
- You are interested in science as well as business law.
The environmental engineering minor will prepare you for the legal and technological requirements to work in engineering and with the environment.
With this minor, you will be an asset for any engineering organization or team working in water or air pollution, recycling and sustainability, waste disposal, climate change, or public health issues.
Program Requirements
You must be an engineering major to earn your environmental engineering minor.
To complete a minor in environmental engineering, you will need to take 18 credits hours of relevant courses. Up to 12 hours can be counted toward your major engineering curriculum.

Each minor requires you to complete a minimum of 18 hours in the specialized area while completing your degree within one of our current engineering and industrial technology programs.
