If you feel you have received an unfair or questionable final grade in a course at the University you have the right for your complaint to be heard in a fair and unbiased manner. Refer to the grade appeal guidelines for information about the full process.
Only final grades in a course may be appealed using this process. If you wish to appeal individual test scores in any course, you must address the particular grade with the appropriate instructor and/or department head.
This procedure is not used to question the professional judgment of an instructor or the content of an examination.
The University Ombudsman is available to assist students with grade appeals. Visit the Student Government Association site for more information.
