The University of Louisiana at Lafayette will host a concert by San Francisco chanteuse and dark cabaret artist, Jill Tracy on Oct. 28 at Angelle Hall.The San Francisco-based artist is known for her evocative cinematic music, sophisticated lyrics, old-world glamour, and her curious passion for strange tales. Tracy has garnered multiple awards and has been hailed by countless critics as a “femme fatale for the thinking man.” The NPR’s All Things Considered describes her as “utterly intriguing, luring you into a magical world solely of her creation,” and the Los Angeles Weekly calls her “very distinctive and exciting.” The concert will begin at 8 p.m. General admission for the public is $10. The concert is free to all UL Lafayette faculty, staff and students with ID.
