ALCOHOL–FREE SECTION ESTABLISHED
FOR OCT. 10 HOME FOOTBALL GAME
LAFAYETTE – An alcohol-free zone has been established at Cajun Field for students beginning with the next home football game on Oct. 10. The alcohol-free zone will be located in Section N within the Red Zone. There will be Coke® banners in place designating the section as alcohol-free.
The alcohol-free zone is sponsored by School Leaders Involved in Drinking & Drug Education (SLIDDE), the Athletic Department and The Lafayette Coalition to Prevent Substance Abuse.
The university began selling alcohol during football games on Sept. 12, 2009.
